Steam Units

A frameless glass steam enclosure turns an ordinary shower into a private spa. Unlike a standard shower, a steam unit must be sealed from floor to ceiling so the steam stays inside and works the way it should. At Installers DMV we design and build fully enclosed, steam-tight glass units to order, using heavy tempered safety glass, a full-height transom or fixed top panel, and a hinged door with proper seals and sweeps that lock the heat and moisture in.

Every steam enclosure is custom-fitted to your exact layout and your steam generator, with attention to the header, the ceiling connection, and the door swing so nothing leaks and the glass never fogs into the rest of the bathroom. Choose clear glass, ultra-clear low-iron glass, or textured options for privacy, and match the hardware — hinges, handles, and channels — in matte black, brushed nickel, chrome, brushed gold, or oil-rubbed bronze. A protective anti-spot coating helps the glass shed water and resist mineral buildup from repeated steam cycles.

Sealing is everything with a steam room, and that is where experience matters. Our installers set the transom tight to the ceiling, seal every joint and edge, and adjust the door and sweeps so the enclosure holds steam efficiently while still draining and drying properly between uses.
